1.  Introduction

The chairman, David Randon, opened the meeting and welcomed all who were present.

2.  Apologies

Chairman present. No apologies applicable at this meeting.

3. Minutes of the Last Meeting held on 29th April 2015

These were agreed unanimously by Councillors

4. Chairman’s Report

The chairman gave a full report on the activities of the Parish Council for the preceding twelve months.

5. Financial Report

The Financial Recorder presented a report on the Income and Expenditure Account.  Following a discussion, the Financial Report was accepted.

6. Ward Councillor Report

Cllr Mercer introduced herself and explained her role as Ward Councillor serving on several committees including the Area Planning Sub-Committee, the Gambling Licensing and Regulatory Committee and the Local Plan Working Group. Cllr Mercer has supported the Parish this year in receiving Ward Funding for the Christmas Lights and the Play Park.  

7. Open Forum

There then followed a question and answer session on various topics. 

7.1 Oil and Gas Licensing

Clarification requested regarding the potential Oil and Gas licensing in the area. The Parish Council will investigate implications. Any application would be made through the local authority and therefore the Parish Council would be consulted.

7.2 Traffic Management

Concerns regarding residents still parking dangerously outside the school. Clarification made that the police cannot enforce the restrictions but CYC can prosecute. Clerk to seek further information from CYC regarding procedure and what evidence is required.

8.  The Chairman’s Closing Remarks

The chairman thanked everyone for attending the meeting and closed the meeting at 7.35pm
