1. Election of the Chair to serve for the next year and receipt of written acceptance of the position. If Chairman is not present the council must take a formal resolution to allow the new Chairman to sign the declaration of office at the next meeting of the council

6. Election of Representatives:

      6.1 Wheldrake Recreation Association

7. Confirm schedule and time of meetings 2017/2018

It is proposed that the start time for all Parish Council meetings is changed from 07.00 pm to 07.30 pm.

1. Election of the Chair to serve for the next year and receipt of written acceptance of the position

Suzie Mercer was nominated, seconded and elected as chair of the Wheldrake Parish Council for the year 2017-2018.

2.  Receipt of apologies for absence

No apologies given for the meeting.

3.  Election of the Vice Chair to serve for the next year

James Myers was nominated, seconded and elected to serve as Vice-Chair of the Wheldrake Parish Council for the year 2017-2018.

4.  Election of Councillors to serve on the Planning Committee

Cllrs. Randon, Jordan, Hodgson, Tetzner and Gilligan were nominated, seconded and duly elected to serve as members of the Wheldrake Parish Council Planning Committee for the year 2017-2018.

5. Election of the Financial Reporter

Cllr. Jordanwas nominated, seconded and unanimously elected to serve as a Financial Reporter of the Wheldrake Parish Council for the year 2017-2018.

6. Election of Representatives:

a) Wheldrake Recreation Association

It was agreed that the minutes of the WRA meetings will be circulated to Councillors.

b) Children’s Play Area Inspector and Reporter

It was agreed that Cllr Gilligan will serve as Children’s Play Area Inspector and Reporter for Wheldrake Parish Council for the year 2017-2018.

c)  Warden of Sandholes Wood

It was agreed that Cllr. Hodgson will serve as warden of Sandholes Wood for Wheldrake Parish Council for the year 2017-2018.

d)  Representative to the Yorkshire Local Councils Association (YLCA) York Branch Meeting

It was agreed that Cllr Mercer will serve as representative to the YLCA York Branch Meetings for Wheldrake Parish Council for the year 2017-2018.

e)  Web-Site Manager

It was agreed that Cllr Barber will serve as Wheldrake Parish Council Web-Site Manager for the year 2017-2018.

7. Schedule and time of meetings for 2017

It was proposed, seconded and agreed that the start time of Parish Council meetings will move to 7.30pm for 2017/18 with seven in favour and three against.

Councillors thanked Cllr Randon for being Chair and Cllr Jordan, Vice Chair of Wheldrake Parish Council.
