  • Councillors unanimously agreed to ‘D’ object to the application as the outstanding planning action needs to be resolved

4.2 8 Main Street, Wheldrake (16/01508/FUL)

4.3 Land West of Hagg Wood, Broad Highway, Wheldrake (16/01534/REMM)

  • Reserved matters application for approval of access, appearance and landscaping for egg production building (following outline approval 15/02439/OUTM)
  • Dated by CYC 5 July 2016. Comments by 26 July.
  • Councillors unanimously agreed to ‘D’ object to the application referring to condition 15; no detail has been provided on the proposed surfacing of the access track. It is unclear if the track complies with condition 15. The condition set by CYC refers to the entire site and length of the track, yet only a resolution on the first access point off Broad Highway /first 10 metres have been brought to council. A further discrepancy was noted that the footpath at the western end of the development on the submitted map indicates that the fencing and landscaping will encroach on the public footpath and obstruct it.

Consultation period starts next week. It was resolved to hold a public meeting in the village in August to allow residents to see the plans and give feedback
